8. Ted Cruz is an ass on the issues, and is an asshole for what he did at the republican convention

If he wasn't planning on endorsing trump, then he should have never attended the Convention or been a speaker, like others.

The good news from his stupid action is he probably just destroyed any political ambitions he may have had.
