6. Yes, we gave corporations the right to commit crime and get away with it.

I feel very sad that this is happening to our country, also. It seems the more we try to strike down "Citizens United" the more powerful it gets. The rich will buy elections. Even if we get Obama re-elected we have to worry about what he is going to be stuck working with in the next four years. I honestly think the American people will not tolerate another four years of a do nothing Congress and God help us if some of the legislation the Republicans have recommended passes. What really concerns me about buying elections is the other things it will buy. It is like a Mafia in Politics. They can buy opinions, court decisions, votes. It is almost like the Supreme Court made it legal to be a criminal. I'm from WV and I have seen this for years. Coal Companies come in and provide jobs etc. When they get finished they lay off workers. They pay very little taxes. Every bit of the land is undermined. Now, the gas line layers are coming in. For years the state has been owned by everyone else. The Massey catastrophe was waiting to happen. Here is the coal operator who wants to come in and be non-union. He buys off judges, etc. when he does something illegal. These men knew they had to go into a mine that was unsafe but, they had no union to look out for their rights. Money spoke in this situation. Is this what is going to happen to all of America? Are these politicians going to do crooked things for money? I hope the judges can open their eyes and see what they have allowed to happen. Is this the way politics works? Help me to understand. I guess I've never been political but, I always felt politics was dishonest. Now, it is even more dishonest!
