All of the more than 400 Nuclear plants world wide are very vulnerable. It does not have to be a war or terrorism.
A decent sized EMP from our friendly neighborhood star will cause most, if not all, of these plants to melt down. And render the planet uninhabitable.

This is the number 1 biggest threat to national security and mankind as well.
It would cost right around a billion $'s to harden the USA electrical grid to avoid this cataclysm. And maybe another 2-3 billion to fix it world wide.

But, for someone reason we seem more interested in expanding our empire of chaos.
