(edited) Blue25. A spending boycott suggestion. Rep. John Lewis, "get in good trouble." [View all]

Please note; this idea is to be used in addition to protest, email/phone calls to politicians, office visits, etc.. It's just an idea for an extra tool for us to use. Musk is already showing thin skin to an advertising boycott on X. Let's irritate him some more.

If they're coming for our S.S. to inflict pain, we can mess with their money flow. They can't force you to spend money. We ALL are going to feel the pain any way, might as well fight back with every tool we can come up with.

Our votes and consumer dollars can be used as weapons. Votes can only be used every 2-4 years, consumer dollars (one of our most powerful weapons) can be used 24/7-365. If the repugs can get big results with a Bud Light and Harley Davidson boycott, we can get big results too.

Fun with numbers.
In a perfect world example;
74, 485,127 Dems & Libs voted in the last election. If we could cut $25.00± a week from our spending, times 4-weeks a month, times 12-months, = $89,382,152,400.00, that's a big ass chunk of change not going into the pocket of the orange economy. Their money flow is one of their weaknesses.

A smaller example; (one million Dems & Libs)($25.00 a week)= $100 million a month or, $1.2 billion in a year. It's not a crippling amount but, it's enough to irritate them. If I was a kid and took $5.00 a day out of my dads or moms wallet or purse, they'd be pissed. A bad example but so what.

Pros.
1.) Spending boycott can be done from the comfort and safety of home.
2.) They can't take your picture, arrest/detain you or shoot you.
3.) If you're not spending, you're saving. Put the money you don't spend away for emergency. Think of the savings as paying yourself to stick it to The Man (The little Man) a little bit each day.
4.) If they want to offset our lack of spending they will have to spend $25.00 more of their money to make up for it. Make the fascist voters shoulder the burden of their orange economy. It's their hate that is bringing it to us.

This is easy and doable and a way to get under their skin.
It's understandable that not everyone can cut $25.00 a week, cut any amount if you can, if you can't cut, be a cheerleader.

Democracy Forever.
Thanks for listening.

I don't mean secret-secret, just keep it on the down low for now. We should keep our strategy to ourselves. Hotler Dec 2024 #5
