Am I the only one bothered by this [View all]

It's minor in the grand scheme of things but my inbox has been flooded today thanks to the tax bill.

I received no fewer than 3 emails with the subject "Paul Ryan has passed"

I get that they mean passed legislation, but usually when I hear the term .... has passed, I am thinking they've dropped dead.
