15. Years of working DV made me support a registry like sex offenders

Because the threat and bad recidivism rates are similar.

Part of the problem is that these abusers are great at hiding who and what they are to people they meet- right until they are not. That is how they find victim after victim.

A registry would protect a lot of people by allowing them to know who and what the person is before getting involved.
