Willie Brown, with more, shall we say, colorful language. The context was he was asked how he voted against the tobacco industry after taking contributions from them. Perhaps Willie was dressing up Unruh's quote and recycling it.

Jesse Unruh is known for the public accommodation law, which is named after him and was the model for similar laws in other states.
