5. Highest temperature EVER recorded at Moffett Field yesterday

107 - and it's supposed to match that today. (Moffett is about 45 miles south of San Francisco, right on the Bay so it gets the cooling effects )

We walked to the local farmers' market early this morning, and now that we're back have no plans to go outdoors until the sun goes down. There's a reason people in hot climes invented the siesta!
