We'll never fully recover from this Presidency. [View all]

At some point, we'll have a Democratic President who can rebuild the agencies that Trump so cavalierly decimated. And if that Democratic President is anything like the last one, he or she will also be able to rebuild some level of trust in the office, as well as our relations around the globe. And if and when we get a Democratic Congress, we may even be able to reverse any harmful policies enacted into law.

That said, we'll never be able to wipe away the stain of Trump himself. He really has debased the office in a way that will never full go away.

And Republicans will keep enabling him - all for a stupid tax cut. In the words of Trump himself, SAD!
