Kasich seems to be one of the voices of reason within the Repug Party. He certainly has more credibility and likability than the likes of Rubio and Cruz and the other members of the Repug 2016 clown car. Another possibility could be to resurrect Jeb.

With respect to Kasich - if you google him - you will find a number of articles tapping him to run against Trump (should Trump last that long) in 2020.
