2. If the ACA is repealed we

will not be getting single payer anytime soon. The idea that we will move to single payer as the result of the ACA being repealed is a total fantasy. Much better chance to get to single payer with the ACA being in place than if it was repealed.

The reality is the legislative filibuster is and will still be in effect when Democrats take back the Senate and it is highly unlikely we would be able to get past the 60 vote threshold we would need for single payer.
