The 2018 looks pretty shitty right now. There's no telling where the mood of the country will be in 16 months and Democrats are not necessarily as disciplined or gifted as Republicans at hanging a loathed incumbent around the GOP's necks.

Optimism is nice. Reality cautions seeing a bigger picture and getting involved.
