Thump's policies haven't started dealing out much pain to the average Texas voter yet. The Republican Party still has a year and a half to make the average Texas voters' lives miserable.

Texas is no longer an overwhelmingly white state. Thump and Pauly-boy still have plenty of opportunities to stick it to Texas' disadvantaged whites and Latinos, as well as to Texas Afro-Americans. And with their Oligarchical andI've got-mind mindsets, they'll probably take them.
