You're right about Trump being dumb, lazy, and unpopular with the majority of the American people.
However, I believe that "a descent into fascist rule by tacky Don" is entirely possible.

In the House, Speaker Eddie Munster will pass whatever bills Trump wants, and the House Dems won't be able to do squat about it.
In the Senate..same thing...The Turtle will eventually invoke the "nuclear option"..which will mean no filibusters for the Democrats, (except possibly for a SCOTUS nominee)
Lets face facts!
Hillary was on her way to a win over Trumplethinskin, until that rat bastard Comey sent his treasonous letter to Congress just 11 days before the election.
She was ahead of Trump by 11 points before that...but Comey's letter cost her at least 7 or 8 percentage points, leaving her with only a 4 point lead going into the election.
The fact is that the Republicans can only steal elections when the race is close!
(Obama proved that in 2008 & 2012)
In my opinion, "The Great Frustration" will be what the Democrats in the House & Senate will be experiencing for at least the next two years.
Our only hope is that the American people will rise up and throw the Republicans out of both Houses of Congress in 2018.
