78. Sadly, I think Israel will be the worse for it too -- even as they get everything they want from

Trump. The fact is that the respect other countries had for the entire Obama administration allowed them the ability to advocate for Israel and to moderate various reactions. This was not based on US threats or fear the US would be angry, but a genuine respect when the US said that doing that would be helpful.
