(50,935 posts)And I get that you have known the guy for a long time, but the act of his vote is an act of sexism and bigotry. It's there, whether you see it or not, and the proof is the vote itself. I wish I knew who here said it first so I could give them credit but, "you can't buy the rope and then say you had nothing to do with the lynching."
And trumps jobs message was "we're going to bring manufacturing jobs back." That's it. That statement. Nothing else. Hillary's was detailed, practical and very extensive. So the whole jobs argument just doesn't hold water. This is what I'm saying. All those people who probably would never even consider themselves sexists or racists may be telling us they are voting about jobs, but they are voting for a candidate who has no real jobs plan. So what is it really that they like?
