pushing his thumb into the eye of this country repeatedly and deliberately with his Cabinet picks. Each and every one seems completely inappropriate to me. And not just mildly, but blatantly inappropriate.

The Petraeus option is so clearly the wrong move that it must be designed to mock the very nature of the positions for which he is being considered. I'm gobsmacked by all of this. It is surrealistic.
