We're talking about bishops who knew for years that there were priests in their dioceses who were abusing kids. All they did was play Priest Roulette and shuffle these priests from parish to parish, or from diocese to diocese, while the list of victims grew. In any other universe, this would be aiding and abetting a felony, and these men would find themselves behind bars.

Is it any coincidence that Bernard Law is now safely ensconsed at the Vatican for life? They protect their own.
