Not only has pyripoxyfen been ruled out as the cause of the massive spike in birth defects in Brazil, Zika has been definitively ruled in.

The reason this wasn't known before is that the virus is a childhood disease in Africa, where it was discovered, and children are then immune to it. It was only when the virus spread outside Africa that its devastating effects in adults became known.

Posting conspiracy rubbish from dodgy websites isn't recommended at DU. Too many people know the real story.
