1. Barack Obama is re-elected somewhat comfortably, as Republicans continue to make fools of themselves in the House. Although it's a "plug your nose" vote for many independents, he wins every state he won in 2008 except Indiana, North Carolina, and New Hampshire.

2. Mitt Romney is completely unable to connect with voters, in large part thanks to him flip-flopping back to the center after flip-flopping to the fringe right.

3. Donald Trump announces a 2012 run, but cancels three days later.

4. Romney picks Chris Christie as his VP candidate.

5. Democrats narrowly win back the House, and retain a small majority in the Senate.

6. I'm with you on Rick Snyder, he will face a solidly Democratic House in Michigan.

7. The recall efforts for Scott Walker come close to succeeding, but intimidation by the Wisconsin Republican Party prevents it from happening.

8. Ben Nelson is replaced by another DINO.
