I'm confused by your post.
The OP here is clearly in support of our president carrying on.
What happened in Belgium is tragic, but not our immediate problem (fault yes). What else should he have done?
Flying to Cuba, opening communication, trade, etc and possibly creating another ally is always preferable to creating more enemies.
