Health insurance and medical care have a written rule (forget what segment of Federal Law it is in) but it dictates that they can do whatever the heck they want whenever they want to, to whomever they care to do so.

It is basically anti-trust, and no other businesses in the world can do this, but the health industry has the ability to legally screw us.
