I'd pick RWD in a performance car (though front drivers can still handle very well) or a tow vehicle. FWD's easier to deal with otherwise.

Prefer all wheel, but since you ask, I'll take front-wheel ever since a 1981 El Dorado incident.

RWD generally better for towing. FWD generally better in almost all other situations.

If you live in the snow, buy a 4wd or leave. If you think driving is an artform, RWD is a must.
