stay to themselves more and more. They quit seeing friends, going places and reaching out.

It strikes me that this is a case of grandiosity plus narcissism plus depression.

If you are determined to kill yourself, you can do it without killing 150 other people, pulverizing a multi-million dollar airplane and landing on worldwide television for days.

Seems like it was his world and everybody else was just a supporting player for him.
