Studies have observed that women, especially young women, tend to suffer from lack of self esteem. Compared to whom? Men of course.

It should be logically inferred that the same studies are observing that men experience a relative surplus of self esteem. i.e. narcissism.

This finding is the natural bookend to the other.

Setting aside whether I agree with the studies... that is a different question.
