He apparently doesn't understand that a grand jury proceeding is not a trial. One simply cannot say that "the true story came out" based upon grand jury documents.

We have trials in this country so that 'truth' or evidence can be ascertained from the give-and-take of adversarial positions, i.e. prosecution and defendant. The grand jury does not do this and isn't meant to.
