That being said, as another poster mentioned, Nugent did hook up with a 17 year old girl in the 1970s, so he is a certified line-crosser. Where there's smoke, there's often fire.

Could be that Love presented herself as older or that the Nuge conveniently didn't ask too many questions. Unfortunately I think that kind of thing is all too common in groupie culture. I heard Bell Biv Devoe's 'Do Me' on XM a week or so ago. Hadn't heard it since it came out 20 years ago. I didn't remember that the lyrics sleazily reference sex with underage girls.
