...all of these things still have, to this day, smart people who know their shit working to make things safer.
Just like there are smart people who know their shit working around the clock, missing their families, not sleeping, eating out of vending machines...trying to find a cure or prevention for Ebola.
Am I happy about the thousands that have died and will die? Nope. Am I skipping through the streets without a care in the world? Nope. But, I'm going to remain optimistic that those smart people are doing their damnedest to figure this out and will, at the very least, make it less of a global threat.
