5. Took the opportunity today to watch the whole Showtime

series, "Untold History of the United States" by Oliver Stone that I have on DVR. Since I'm old I have lived through most of this history, it seems that ginning up fear is how we've been taken to war so many times in the last eighty years. I'm up to the Cuban missile crisis as I type this. It seems our war hawks in the military and others wanted to nuke bomb Cuba and then Russia to oblivion. Thank God calmer and wiser heads prevailed.
