But other than that, I ain't buying it. By god, all you need to 'hunt' them is a piece of bread and pair of pliers and a sack to put them in.

Sadly, there are some real jerkwads here in Florida that revel in killing harmless ducks (and turtles and what-have-you). It's clearly like that all over, though.
