That was my beef with it all mostly because I respect TED talks as a whole and learn so much interesting things there I would never hear anywhere else and that sort of tainted it a bit for me.
The fact he is trying to sell his product is no big deal, of course that on it's own is nothing to even comment on - it was the association with TED. Which I am sure is not pure either.
