There are hundreds of versions or interpretations of the bible in existence all written to give religious legitimacy and support to whatever the men in power wanted to control and enforce.
If the bible is the word of god then there would be only 1 version and it would not be open to interpretation.
If god is infallible than the bible would be a perfect book with no mistakes, errors and 100% accurate and verifiable.
However I agree with shving back it in the fundies faces with their own quotes from the book of fairy tales.

There should also be Bible verses stating the requirements that a husband must fullfil in a marriage
