1) Conflict Of Interests. Their bosses are essentially dependent on the cabal. Those who reside on the boards of directors for the big media firms also sit on the boards for the investment banks and military contractors and have a financial incentive to go to war and at the same time repress dissent at home while ramping up a police state to protect the .01%
2) Fear. They know the truth that many who are in power that resist die from unusual circcumstances. Also, they know people have an easier time believing there's multitudes of small lies. It's the big lies which are true that are too much a shock to people's belief systems and they will resist them out of self-preservation.
