(89,239 posts)2. no, i think what happened was the cops just took Zimmerman at his word
because Trayvon was Black so they ddin't really care and/or assumed he was guilty.
i'm not sure it was an active cover up from the start. but now they were exposed for not doing the job they should have they kept trying to cover it up to save their own asses .
