6. All the schools are closed already!

But, hey, that's OK. We don't have to get up at 6AM to see if my daughter's college classes are going to be canceled.

The state is literally shut down already and not a drop of anything has fallen. The Governor has declared a State of Emergency.

Now, granted, it's going to be a bad one if it lives up to the forecast - 6 inches of snow for me (that's a BLIZZARD in Georgia), followed by 2 days of ice storms.

But, Atlanta and the highways will be a ghost town this time.
