16. I suspect it depends a lot on the supply of fresh water where you live vs. the supply of trees.

For example too many people drawing from the Colorado River is a problem, so the total cost of washing that plate is high for those folks.

In contrast, here on the East Coast I think it's less of a problem, and most of the forest is already gone, so it's probably better to use water than trees.
