327. Honestly, decades of being told
Sat Sep 28, 2013, 02:52 PM
Sep 2013

"This is the best we can do", "sit down, shut up, and get out your checkbooks" and watching the political conversation get pulled further and further right because Republicans fear their base and Democratic leadership has taken their left leaning supporters for granted has left me with little patience for "centrist" politicians. Chasing Republicans further and further right is what's gotten our country into this mess.

I try to stay civil. I try to avoid personal attacks. But I absolutely believe the political "center" is further right than where much of the American population is. The system is set up to ignore left leaning voices and ideas at the moment.
