If 86% of the population are white (including Latino), and 85% of white murder victims are killed by white people, it's simple maths that a randomly-selected white person and a randomly-selected black person are about equally likely to kill me! If you'd like to call your own statistics BS, fair enough; if not, it's a simple mathematical conclusion with nothing subjective about it at all!


I'm not sure why you think that pointing out that only in 28% of murders were by strangers refutes my claim that most murders are by acquaintances...


Yes, obviously men commit more murders than women; Alice and Bob were meant to be placeholder names. Read them as "person A" and "person B" if you prefer.
