In reply to the discussion: Greenwald’s Outrage Sandwich: NSA Analysts Can Analyze NSA Intelligence [View all]Pholus
(4,062 posts)32. Guess the British were more competent than us then.
That isn't a ringing endorsement of how cost-effective all these spy games are, you know.
It was gross incompetence to depend on private companies for granting entry into the "oh so top secret clearance club."
The bragging about the last minute deck-chair rearranging with the "no lone zones" is no better.
It kind of conflicts with all the hype about how good "anomaly detection in large databases" works in the first place.
So why are we forced to pay for pure waste?
Because we don't know about it. It's secret dont'cha know!
What a scam!!!
As more information dribbles out as sunlight peeks in, I see signs of $600 toilet seats and hammers all over this.

So instead of having the guts to call someone a troll outright, you post a link to do the same?

Amazing. The OP distracts from the issues and you distract when the distraction is called out.

It's a cowardly thing to accuse someone of being a troll indirectly. Offering no argument. It says

I'd be wasting my time to suggest you stop attacking other DUers and try focusing on the issues?

Why? You and your small, obnoxious clique are the ones involved in a witch hunt.

But her list is composed of at least a few bogus stories. So there is a difference.
