was going on illegally since 2001, and when Congress institutionalized the program in 2006. Fer chrissakes there isn't anything 'revealed' that most regulars here at DU didn't know since 2001 when we were fighting TIA.

It's the media focus on this story as Snowden versus Obama when Obama entered office with this program in place.
