the President's favorable/unfavorable are about the same, with a one-point drop among unfavorable.

As for the approval, the 62 percent seemed like a spike in the trend line. The 52 percent is closer to the numbers over the past 12 months. Also, the disapproval only changed slightly from 33 percent to 35 percent. There is a spike in "no opinion."

Seems like this was a post-election/inaugural high, and now the numbers are back to normal. Certainly, a slight impact from months of negative news.
