My heart sank this morning when I saw the news of her passing; I immediately thought of you, too. Your relationship with her became our relationship with her. I've admired her all these years, and your stories and photos brought her even closer.
I want to express my respect for Helen Thomas, and my condolences to you on the loss of your friend.
Thank you, Helen. And thank you, too, DFW, for your generosity in sharing.
