And justice should be done for everyone's sake. The perpetrators are twisted already and need treatment. Not that it always works but if they aren't made to feel some empathy and regret, they may grow up to continue to molest and torment, younger and weaker victims.

I think we have a culture of secrecy, shame and abstinence only sex ed, that allows this sick shit to happen.

Young men have a tough time in recovery because some times they feel to blame or feel as if any arousal makes them culpable. The child needs lots of expert counseling to rebuid his self esteem and to be assured it was not his fault.
