Just over 400 million compared to 315 million in the US.
Over 800,000 have now signed the world wide petition.
Only 72,000 have signed the US one.
Why do you think that is?

One cannot pardon someone who hasn't been convicted and apologizes for the crime.

This would be a pardon in regard to the crime. Crime is not the same as wrongdoing.
