And the thing with extreme, violent porn is that it's not necessarily "just a movie" - much of it is actual video recordings of assault, battery, and in some cases rape. Exactly how much is "real" is impossible to quantify, but the mere fact that such material - which at the least is indistinguishable from real torture and sexual assault - is so popular, makes me very afraid for the future of our species.
