In reply to the discussion: Police Stop "Dogs Against Romney" Protester for Having Dog Crate on Car Roof [View all]I think the policeman that stopped traffic on two lanes of a four lane freeway one morning on my way from work to let a turtle cross the road safely, probably would have been better off just grabbing the thing and moving it himself, though.

Back in what 'day'? Dogs were pets and well taken care of when I was a kid 50 years ago.
