It is a really interesting look at a culture that has evolved apart from modernity.
they don't have one god - gods are in nature and they respect their territory.
they don't hunt animals during those animals' breeding seasons - this is to their advantage, since they do hunt those animals - but they also keep some as pets if they survive after a hunt.
they do marry, tho. one woman had four husbands and shared a living space with another family of one man and two wives.
the first sex partners of both genders are older than they are - considerably older.
their technology is amazing - the different kinds of bows and arrows, the way they are constructed. they hunt as a group, both males and females (including females with nursing children.) - This is an area in which a lot of people have assumed, erroneously, imo, that females didn't hunt - that males provided and females stayed back at home - not so, as this video shows, for at least some who have kept closer to earlier ways of living.
their work takes place in relaxing ways at home - while lying in hammocks, or while socializing and sewing a hammock. They share - they do something for one person with the knowledge they will also be the recipient at another time.
I wonder how someone decided to make their body mod for the first time and how they decided their decoration was so lovely. It looks like it would be uncomfortable.
Men dress up as women to honor the births of their children.
really interesting vid.
