I could not agree more with you about time constraints upon corrective action. That's why I was entertaining the idea of a march on Washington. We need to empower our President and our Attorney General to crack the whip on the murdering crooks, thieves and liars who have been sabotaging our inheritance and that of our children and grandchildren.
It's really not that complicated. The FBI just needs to ask Karl Rove about the serial election stealing. When he declines the interview, he simply needs to be asked in front of a grand jury. If he takes the Fifth, he just needs to be prosecuted. There is plenty of evidence--enough to convict, and he knows it. My guess is that Karl will sing, will truly repent, and become a believer. He strikes me as a man with an excellent sense of reality. If Rove thinks he is being hung out to dry by ABC's Scandal, he may be anxious to come forward, help us clean up the financial mess, and be redeemed in history as a reformer.
If the President and DOJ made the decision that the banks will not be coddled any longer, the banks' lawyers would advise them to come clean and shape up as fast as possible, because the party is over.
