It's just a transparent, squawking shill for gun sales at this point, and even the gun owners know it. A conservative Republican who, for fun, trades in private market AR-15s, tossed me the NRA's currently monthly mag / rag, the other day, laughing himself at the fact that it was just a gun ad pamphlet, with one wild anti-Obama screed ("President Pinocchio"

stapled to the middle.

I've never seen a text-to-ad ratio like that. And the focus was not on hunting. It was all tactical gear and "scary black rifles" and tiny little pistols you can cup in your palm. Simply demented and sad.
