Think of all the high-paid jackasses on Wall Street and managing these funds who got smacked. They don't know what they are doing either, at least on the highest levels.

Unlike SS, workers can take $$ out of 401ks & IRAs, it is a big policy mistake.

A "defined contribution" pension isn't a pension plan at all. It's a savings account.

My state university pension is portable. Reciprocal agreements with other states are also common.
